Our challenge was truly tricky: to design a pattern that is both extraordinary and scalable to large areas, while precisely connecting the transitions. Additionally, the pattern had to work when enameled onto the glass surfaces without any loss of quality.
Based on these requirements, we designed a pattern that offers visually engaging and ever-changing transitions, based on a graphically sophisticated system that can be individually expanded to infinitely many more surfaces in the future. The pattern, which abstractly narrates the dynamics of daily movement, brings both dynamism and tranquility to the public space where a lot happens due to shops, DB guidance, advertising, and people rushing towards their goals.
The result is a large-scale, aesthetic design that flows through the key areas of the B-level, guiding travelers on its momentum through the station, and clearly distinguishing itself from advertising and DB guidance.
